“This is the gospel of Rolfing: when the body gets working appropriately, the forces of gravity can flow through.  Then, spontaneously, the body heals itself.”

–Ida P. Rolf, Ph D.

Discover the advantages of Rolfing® Structural Integration.

Rolfing is a form of bodywork that focuses on manipulating the body's connective tissues, primarily fascia, to improve posture, relieve tension, and enhance overall physical performance. Developed by Dr. Ida Rolf in the mid-20th century, this holistic approach aims to align the body more effectively with gravity, promoting a greater sense of well-being and vitality. Through a series of structured sessions, a trained Rolfer works to release restrictions in the fascia, allowing for improved movement and a healthier body structure, which leads to better physical function, emotional balance and overall health.

  • Even though we think of Rolfing as a type of massage, it is actually a modality that originated from osteopathy the practice of muscles, ligaments and tendons. Rolfing aligns the misaligned body to eliminate pain.

  • Rolfing can be intense but not intentionally painful.

  • It is a myth that Rolfing “fixes” injuries. However, regardless of whether the pain is either chronic or acute, Rolfing can help alleviate the pain.

Allen Golditch - Certified Rolfer™

As a proud graduate of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration, my passion lies in helping clients find relief, balance, and freedom in their bodies. My journey began with a certificate in holistic health from MiraCosta College, followed by years of practice in Massage Therapy, specializing in Aromatherapy, Swedish techniques, and Sports massage.

My background in martial arts through the American Taekwondo Association has deeply shaped my approach to wellness. From student to master, martial arts taught me the power of embodiment, resilience, and harmony with nature—principles I bring into every session.

Today, I specialize in Structural Integration, also known as Rolfing®, blending it seamlessly with my massage expertise. This unique combination has helped clients experience profound relief from pain and tension while rediscovering a sense of ease in their movement and alignment.

Helping people feel better in their bodies isn’t just my profession—it’s my passion and purpose. Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply wanting to move with more freedom, I’m here to support your journey to wellness.

Rolfing Session Protocol

Unlike a massage, a Rolfing session targets specific areas of the body based on clients' concerns, such as pain in a leg. The session starts with a ten-minute assessment of your posture while standing, walking, and bending your knees. If the focus is on one leg, I'll inspect it from the hips to the feet on both legs. A typical Rolfing process involves working from the ribcage to the thighs and lower legs, gradually moving up to the head. The session lasts 70 minutes, during which I address your specific issue and follow the source of tension. Afterward, I'll reassess your movement and posture to see any changes. My aim is to help you move more freely and ease muscle restrictions.
